Obituary of Marie Marino

Marie Marino (nee Colella) 89 of Wayne, NJ formerly of Haledon, NJ on Friday, October 16, 2015. She was born in Paterson, NJ and lived in Haledon since 1956 before recently moving to Wayne. She was a graduate of Central High School in Paterson. Before her retirement she was a bookkeeper for Stephen P. Radics and Company in Haledon for 36 years. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ where she was a member of the Rosary Society and a member of the P.T.A. at St. Paul's School. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Marino. Devoted mother of Mark Rocco Marino and his wife Carmen of Toms River, NJ and Lisa Gortych and her husband Tom of Wayne. Loving daughter of the late Lena and Louis Colella. Cherished grandmother of James, Kimberly and Ashley. Dear sister of Sylvia Colella and the late Pasquale, Felix, Josephine and Herbert Colella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews with warm and special memories of their Aunt Marie. Funeral from DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Friday at 9 AM. Funeral liturgy at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ at 10 AM. Interment, Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ. Visiting on Wednesday, 7-9 PM and Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorial gifts to St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ 07508 would be appreciated. When she was not praying for all of us, Marie's greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her unselfish, caring and loving nature that touched the lives of so many. Marie will be sadly missed by all.
