Obituary of Fatima Shurdom

Fatima Shurdom, 50 of Wayne, NJ on Monday, September 7, 2015. Dreams for a future have been shattered by time. Her endless devotion to her Christian faith never stood in the background and she embraced the Eucharist with open arms whenever offered to her. We wish to thank all the Priests and Eucharistic Ministers who prayed with her and went the extra mile to comfort her, especially Father Sam, Father Dennis, Father Andrew, Father Marc, Father Sal and Msgr. Edward J. Kurtyka. The family wishes to thank her doctors, especially Dr. Michael Scola, Dr. Liviu Rappaport and Dr. Eube Nakosi for their dedication and compassion, and her many good nurses, especially Karen, Beth, Edie, Carol, Rich, Terry, Deborah, Emiy and Marie. She will be missed by her, mother, Ursula Fries, her father, Mark Shurdom, her brothers, Janty Shurdom, Andre Fries and sister-in-law Suzanne, her beloved nephew, Daniel Fries-Giraldi, her special brother, Ray Jones, and a very special thank you to Shirley, Linda and Rosemarie and her daughters for their endless support and friendship; the love of her life, Andreas; the many cousins in Germany and her friends in Italy and her beloved pets, especially Big-Boy. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting on Thursday, 5-8 PM. .
