Obituary of Branko Stojakovic

Branko Stojakovic, age 81, of North Haledon died Monday, April 6, 2015 at Hospice Of New Jersey in Wayne, NJ. Branko was born December 2, 1933 in Lubina, Croatia . He is the son of the late Vaso and the late Zofia Stojokavic. He came to the United States in 1962 and settled in Paterson, NJ before moving to North Haledon in 1979. He worked in the maintenace department at Becton Dickinson in West Caldwell, NJ for 15 yeras and retire in 2004. He was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ. He is survived by his wife: Marija (Mlakar) Stojakavic , his daughter ; Lucia DeNova and her husband Anthony of North Haledon, his two sons: Emil Stojakovic and his wife Tawnya of North Haledon, NJ and Edward Stojakovic of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Nicholas Stojakovic, Catalina Stojakovic, Marc Stojakovic,, Maxim Stojakovic, Anthony DeNova, IV and James DeNova. He was predeceased by his brothers, Luban Stojakovic, Milan Stojakovic and Steve Stojakovic. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, April 11 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Friday, April 10 from 4-8pm at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home.
