Jose DelMar, age 86, of Haledon died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Jose was born November 17, 1928 in Cebu City, Phillipines . He is the son of the late Domingo and the late Geronima (Ramas) DelMar. He came to the United States in 1995 and settled in Paterson, NJ and moved to Haledon in 1998.
He was an Engineer employed by Cebu City in the Philippines.
He was a parishioner of St. Gerard's R.C. Church.
He is survived by his wife: Nellie (Yu) DelMar and daughters: Jocelyn Santiago of Haledon, NJ and Jennifer DelMar of the Phillipines. He also survived by six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 17 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, West Broadway, Paterson, NJ. Cremation will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Monday, February 16 from 6-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
