Obituary of Dorothy Ebneth

Dorothy Ebneth, age 89, of Brigantine died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Dorothy was born November 13, 1925 in Hawthorne, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Jacob and the late Hedwig Dobrosielski. She lived in Haledon, NJ before moving to Brigantine in 2005. She retired from Pompton Lakes High School in 1995 where she worked for many years as a Health Educator and a School Nurse. Previously she was a Registered Nurse at Paterson General Hospital. She was a member of Nursing Society of NJ, Audubon Society, Garden Club of Brigantine, N.J.E.A, a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Brigantine, a former parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ and the Passaic County Retired Educators Association and the Passaic County Education Association. . She is survived by her daughter: Carol Sweetman of Austin, TX and her son: Carlton Ebneth of Berkeley, NJ. She is also survived by her five grandchildren;. Carlton Ebneth, Austin Ebneth, Amber Ebneth, Billy Sweetman and Kevin Sweetman. She was predeceased by her husband Carlton Ebneth and her sisters; Connie, Martha and Lee. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, November 21 at Christ The King Cemetery, 980 Huron Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. .
